Tsinelas para sa Malinis na Bukas
A campaign to gather slippers for the underserved IP communities in Marilog District of Davao City

Having a footwear is not all about looking good or being branded as civilized inviduals. More than its aesthetic purposes, these footwears serve as our line of defense against diseases.

Without footwears, our precious soles will have direct contact to the soil and will be prone to cuts and wounds that will serve as pathways for harmful microbes to enter our system thus compromising our health.

Lucky for those of us who can afford to have more than one pair. Some are even considering colors depending on what they’re wearing. Unfortunately, there are chilren in some of the far flung areas of Davao who walks barefoot simply because their parents can’t afford to buy them one.

These children go to school everyday even without footwears just to grasp education which they believe to be essential in their future life. In our little ways, providing these children even slippers could not only soothe their tired feet from walking long trails from their house to their school, but could also protect them from sickness.

InshaAllah, next month (Safar in Islamic Calendar or by January in Gregorian Calendar), Zabadani Cafe gladly encourages everyone to donate a pair of tsinelas.

These tsinelas' will be distributed in the Indigenous People Communities in Davao City in coordination with the DSWD.

Along with the NEW MENU, Zabadani Cafe has installed few decors on the ceiling - an arabic-style tent. It now recreates and enhances the middle-eastern feel of the cafe.

The New Zabadani Cafe

Alhamdulillah, the new Zabadani re-opened to a much bigger and relaxing place along Ponciano Street. The Consul General of Malaysia and his Vice-consul graced the event together with the rest of the Zabadani family.

The event started with a Du'aa (supplication) to Allah (swt) and a small Hors d'œuvre for the guests - and what else could that be but our ever loved Bruschetta!

Seafood Bruschetta Series

Zabadani Layered Coffee is now putting it's newest partner to its Layered Coffee - the Bruschetta Series.

Toppings vary from Smoked Oyster, Smoked Mussel, Smoked Scallop, Baby Clam, Shrimp, Mozarella Cheese and Spinach, Garlic Chilli, Just-ripe Tomatoes, Anchovies, Tuna Flakes, Corned Beef, Gorgonzola Cheese and Honey, White Beans, Black Olives, Mushrooms, Grilled Cheese and many more.

Our Seafood Bruschetta series are brushed with fresh garlic, dash with garlic powder, an ample amount of chilli powder, drizzle of extra virgin olive oil garnished with Thyme twigs and some more extra Virgin Olive Oil for that distinctively mediterranean taste or spread with arab cream cheese topped with strips of quickmelt cheese.

One serving consists of three slant slices of 1-day old French Bread at Php 60.00 per serving.

Olives stuffed with the undeniable taste of anchovies over a day old French Bread with fresh tomatoes, cheese and sprinkles of guarded Zabadani secret ingredients!

Salam. Am really glad your Zabadani coffee shop have soar this high just as I wished you before. I was a witness to the empty few small chairs and tables you had few years back, to what it is now . . no more chairs and tables I guess, huh!just the beautiful Moroccan rugs and throw pillows and the minaret backdrop huh! am overwhelmed brother. But you really got what it takes to be a Zabadani explorer uhuh.. uhuh..uhuh... Congratulations and I want to be surprise again the next time I visit your site. so come on . . explore . . . explore and see what I've got to say brother.. carry on coz you're doing great!

I dig the regular ones, but I'd like to try that stuff when I hit the town. Talk about having that caffeine and getting a lay(ered) one at the same time. Its kool though...

The place is really cozy aside from the superb tasting food... None of my friends I brought there gave a negative comment. Even my most critical chef friend just gave it a "thumbs up".

New Zabadani is simply amazing! The food are great. Just simply love it! You brought Arabia in Davao.. :) Can't wait to try your new Mediterranean cuisine(SOON!)-- strong,flavorful..food is SCRUMPTIOUS!
